Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is created from your own blood. We remove a small amount of blood, spin it twice in a centrifuge and re-inject the result into your body. For joint support, this is injected directly into the joint. The procedure takes about 30 minutes. There is no pain in this procedure. You may feel a slight needle prick when the blood is removed and another when you receive the injection.
