What is Concierge Care NP?

Imagine that you wake up and are not feeling well. You call your current Primary Care Provider to schedule an appointment and they tell you they may be able to fit you in the schedule in a few days.

Now imagine that instead of calling your current PCP, you call Concierge Care NP. You immediately speak directly with your provider and many times are diagnosed over the phone or via an online session and are provided with an accurate diagnosis and with the solution to your medical problem.

While not all medical problems are easily solved in this manner, the majority of them can be resolved without having to wait days or even physically be in the same room with your provider.

The average primary care provider manages about 2,300 patients each year. If the PCP did nothing but see patients for 40 hours a week, 50 weeks a year, each patient receives about 1 hour a year of interaction with the PCP. In reality, much of the PCPs time is spent completing paperwork for either medical records, insurance or general practice administration. With a concierge practice, the PCP sees fewer patients, so the amount of time they can allot to each patient increases. This allows a closer patient-provider relationship so your provider is more familiar with your medical history and the factors of your life that impact your health.

Concierge Care NP (CCNP) provides access to a limited number of patients through both tele-health and in-person interactions. Because CCNP is a Nurse Practitioner based practice you receive the care and compassion that is critical to not only your physical health but to the emotional needs everyone wants when you have health issues or even when you are healthy.  CCNP focuses on integrative and functional medicine.  Functional medicine enables physicians and other health professionals to practice proactive, predictive, personalized medicine and empowers patients to take an active role in their own health. – See more at: The Institute for Functional Medicine
